What we collect
We collect only what you choose to share with us through the forms on this site or by email. Depending on the form, that may include:
- Your name, email address, phone number and how you prefer to be contacted
- General information about a business, such as its industry, location, approximate revenue and timing
- For buyers, your acquisition criteria, background and general financial capacity
- For LAER agents, your office and your relationship with the business owner
- Anything you write in a message or notes field
We do not ask for the name of a business on our public forms, and we ask that you not include it. We also receive basic technical information that any website receives, such as your approximate location by country and the page you submitted from.
How we use it
We use your information only to evaluate and respond to your inquiry, to match buyers with suitable opportunities, and to run the sale process you engage us for. We do not use it for unrelated marketing.
Who we share it with
Your information is shared only with the LAER Business team evaluating your inquiry and, where relevant, with LAER Realty Partners and the LAER agent involved. Details of a business are disclosed to prospective buyers only with the owner's approval and after the buyer has been screened and has signed a non-disclosure agreement.
We use a small number of service providers to operate this site and deliver email, such as our hosting, security and email delivery providers. They process data on our behalf and only for that purpose.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We may use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to understand overall visits. Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, a security check that helps block spam and automated abuse.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond and, if we work together, for the duration of the engagement and any period required by law. Website form submissions are automatically deleted from our backup store after 90 days.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Emailinfo@laerbusiness.com and we will respond promptly.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection, form submissions are protected against automated abuse, and access to inquiries is limited to the people who need it.
Changes
If we update this policy, we will post the new version here with a new date.
